Legally binding
Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Tagile collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit our website or use our service. It also explains the difference between data we control ourselves and data we process on behalf of our customers.
Last updated: 22 July 2026 · Effective from: 22 July 2026 · Version 1.0
1. Who we are
Tagile AB, org. no. 559467-5802 ("Tagile", "we"), provides an AI powered decision support service for B2B teams. You can reach us at hello@tagile.ai.
2. Scope of this policy: controller and processor
Tagile as data controller. We are the controller for personal data relating to website visitors, account contacts, users, billing contacts and support contacts. This policy governs that processing.
Tagile as data processor. When customers use the Service to monitor people and companies, the customer decides what is monitored and why. For that customer controlled data inside the Service, Tagile acts as processor on the customer's behalf, under the Data Processing Agreement, not under this policy.
3. Personal data we collect
Account and contact information: name, email address, company name, phone number.
Billing information: transaction ID and invoice address. Card numbers are handled by our payment provider and are not sent to us directly.
Technical and usage information: IP address, browser type, operating system and activity logs in the platform.
Support communication: the content of messages you send to our support and the contact details you use.
Monitoring and relationship data: public information about the people and companies a customer chooses to monitor. Tagile processes this data on the customer's behalf as processor (see section 2).
4. How we use personal data
- to create and administer accounts and deliver the Service;
- to manage subscriptions, invoicing and bookkeeping;
- to keep the platform stable and secure and to improve the product;
- to respond to support requests;
- to communicate service related information, such as maintenance notices.
5. Legal bases
We rely on performance of contract (delivering the Service you signed up for), legal obligation (for example bookkeeping requirements), and legitimate interest (security, product improvement, and, for our customers, making B2B relationship work more effective). Where consent is required, for example for certain cookies, we ask for it separately.
6. Data retention
We keep personal data no longer than needed for the purpose it was collected for, or as required by law. Typical retention periods:
| Data category | Purpose | Legal basis | Retention period |
|---|---|---|---|
| Account & contact information | Account administration and service delivery | Performance of contract | Normally for the duration of the subscription plus up to 12 months |
| Billing information | Subscription management, invoicing, bookkeeping | Contract & legal obligation | As required by law (in Sweden, normally 7 years under the Bookkeeping Act) |
| Technical data & logs | Stability, security, product improvement | Legitimate interest | Typically up to 90 days for security logs |
| Support communication | Handling and following up support requests | Legitimate interest | Normally as long as needed to resolve and follow up the matter |
| Monitoring data (processed for customers) | Delivering relevant insights to the customer | Customer's legitimate interest (Tagile as processor) | Deleted when the customer ends the monitoring or deletes its Workspace |
8. Subprocessors
We use a limited number of vetted service providers to deliver the Service, such as cloud infrastructure, payment processing, email delivery and AI processing. The current list is published on the Subprocessors page.
9. International transfers
We aim to store and process data within the EU/EEA. Where a provider processes data in a third country such as the United States, we put in place appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses together with supplementary measures where relevant. Details per provider are listed on the Subprocessors page.
11. Security
We use technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the service and the data processed, including encryption of data in transit and at rest and restricted access to production systems. Read more on the Security page.
12. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right of access, rectification, erasure ("right to be forgotten"), restriction, objection and data portability. To exercise your rights, contact hello@tagile.ai.
13. Data deletion and export
When a subscription ends, Customer Data is deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period after termination, except for information we are legally required to retain (for example under bookkeeping law). If you would like a copy of your data, contact us and we will assist.
14. Complaints
If you believe we process your personal data incorrectly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY), www.imy.se.
